To boot into single user mode, at the &lt;code&gt;boot:&lt;/code&gt; prompt I would type: &lt;code&gt;boot: &lt;b&gt;linux 1&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/code&gt;<br /> <br /> TIP: If you did not install your system with a pause, you should really run [[liloconfig]] and put at least a 5 second pause in.
