One late night, it came to our attention (a bunch of slackers) that Slackware comes with a long list of text editors... After discussing it, a list was made... so.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The following editors are included in Slackware:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Command Line/Text&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* Joe&lt;br /&gt;
* Vi (elvis)&lt;br /&gt;
* Vim&lt;br /&gt;
* Emacs&lt;br /&gt;
* Jove&lt;br /&gt;
* Jed&lt;br /&gt;
* Pico (from pine)&lt;br /&gt;
* Ed&lt;br /&gt;
* Nano&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
X11&lt;br /&gt;
* Kwrite&lt;br /&gt;
* xedit (xorg)&lt;br /&gt;
* gvim&lt;br /&gt;
* Emacs&lt;br /&gt;
* kedit&lt;br /&gt;
* kate.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Other editors that may be useful to Slackware users, such as programmers, are:&lt;br /&gt;

* RHIDE (with SETedit for dual-display debugging)&lt;br /&gt;

* TexMacs (such as for mathematics writing.)&lt;br /&gt;
